Hi! My name is Abby Lieder, and this is my seventh year teaching 5th grade at Hardy Elementary School. I got my Undergraduate degree in music from Bates College in Maine and moved to the Boston area to go to Lesley University for graduate school. I received a Master’s of Elementary Education and Creative Arts in Learning from Lesley, and since then have worked in the Cambridge and Arlington Public Schools. I have a passion for the ARTS and I love to incorporate many art forms into my teaching!  My goal is to make this year successful for each student and make learning FUN! I hope to inspire students to become life long learners and achieve each of their hopes and dreams. Currently I live in Stoneham MA, and enjoy spending time being active outdoors, and with my cat, TK and husband, Patrick.

 

Fun Fact: I also sang in an acapella group that performs around the Boston area with another former Hardy teacher. Can you guess who??
